Elk Grove Triangle Public Meeting
Please mark your calendar for Monday,
April 14, at 6:30 p.m., when the City of Elk Grove Planning will
hold the next public meeting for the Elk Grove Triangle Comprehensive
Plan. This meeting is open to all interested persons.
Items to be discussed at this meeting
will include:
- A review
of the infrastructure needs and costs associated with
development of the Triangle area with primarily one-acre-lot residential
development. Staff will present several scenarios, including
the potential costs to "first-in-line" subdividers and
methods to fund infrastructure for the area.
- Alternative development scenarios, including the use of incentives
to encourage the clustering of development and retention of the
larger lots which currently exist in portions of the Triangle area.
Participants will be provided with the
opportunity to comment on these items, and to express their preference
for the ultimate development scenario. The results of this meeting
will be presented to the Planning Commission on Thursday, April
24.
