Laguna West Annexation/Sphere of Influence
The Sacramento County Local Agency Formation Commission (SLAFCo) on September 3, 2003, voted to approve the annexation of the 2,128-acre Laguna West area to the City of Elk Grove.
The annexation
was be effective as of December 15, 2003.

| On December 4, 2002, the City Council approved a proposed pre-zoning of the Laguna West area. This is a required step in the annexation process, and established the zoning districts the City would apply to properties when the area annexes to Elk Grove. View the pre-zoning map. | |
