SPA Building Design Workshop Did you know that Old Town Elk Grove has several dozen buildings that are on the Federal Register of Historic Places? Much of the architecture dates back to the 1800s. When a new building comes to Old Town , what should it look like? How should it blend in with the surrounding historic architecture? What materials should be used? What is the maximum height that should be allowed? What exterior colors should be permitted? What architectural styles should be encouraged?
